To equip senior leaders with the knowledge and practical skills to effectively promote and manage safeguarding in their school, ensuring a safe environment for all students and fostering a whole-school safeguarding culture.

Overview

This 1-hour safeguarding seminar for senior leaders covers key responsibilities in promoting a safe school environment, including safeguarding legislation, roles, duties, and effective policies. Participants will learn to identify signs of abuse, respond to disclosures, and manage staff allegations. The session emphasises creating a whole-school safeguarding culture, monitoring policies, ensuring staff training, and supporting vulnerable students while maintaining strong partnerships with external agencies.
