Peer Review

The London South Learning Partnership’s Peer Review programme is a sector-led, cluster-based approach to school improvement which develops a partnership’s capacity through a continuous cycle of school self-review, peer review and school-to-school support and improvement. This continuous cycle enables the partnership to work effectively on school improvement that has impact.

Introduction

To build a truly self-sustaining education system—where teachers and school leaders collaborate effectively to enhance the life chances of all young people—peer review and collective learning must become the norm, not the exception.

Research increasingly shows that structured collaboration accelerates school improvement, making progress both faster and more sustainable. Through school-to-school peer review, you gain valuable insights into your priorities, harnessing the power of peer challenge and support to drive meaningful development.

This process not only celebrates strengths but also uncovers fresh perspectives and identifies practical next steps. Guided by a skilled Lead Reviewer, a trained peer review team gathers evidence from across your school to provide clear, actionable recommendations for improvement.
