I have been a visionary senior leader in a number of successful schools where staff were regularly faced with behaviours that challenge. I have devised practical, purposeful and aspirational behaviour policies that celebrate children who come into school everyday to do the right thing whilst being firm, empathic, caring and boundaried in order to effectively support those who communicated how they think and feel through their behaviours.

I am currently Headteacher of Southwark’s outstanding SEMH provision supporting some of the borough’s most vulnerable children who have been suspended or excluded from mainstream settings.
