Laura is Director of Education at University Schools Trust (UST). Before this role, she was an experienced Headteacher, leading successful school improvement journeys in challenging contexts across London. Laura has a strong interest in education policy and is a passionate advocate for social justice.

She is also a member of the strategic partnership board at London South Bank University, where she lectures on MA, BA, and PGCE courses. Laura facilitates the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) through the London South Teaching School Hub. She co-authored Tackling Poverty and Disadvantage in Schools (Bloomsbury) and is currently writing her second book, Empowering Teachers, Improving Schools, on belonging, psychological safety, and school improvement for SAGE publishers.
