I am an experienced education professional with 21 years in primary education, specialising in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). For over 16 years, I have led EYFS at my current school, driving improvements in teaching, learning, curriculum, and assessment. I hold the NPQSL and am currently undertaking the NPQH to further develop my leadership expertise.

As a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE), I have supported multiple schools in enhancing early years practice. I have successfully implemented a new curriculum and assessment framework, ensuring adaptations for pupils with SEND, introduced key worker systems to personalise learning, and improved transition and admissions processes.

My experience as an Ofsted Inspector and Area Lead for the DfE’s Early Years Covid Recovery Programme has deepened my expertise in early childhood development. Skilled in data analysis, strategic leadership, and stakeholder engagement, I provide constructive feedback, support educators, and drive continuous improvement to enhance outcomes for young learners.
