Naheeda Maharasingam has been the Headteacher at Rathfern for 18 years and is dedicated to embedding strong values that shape our school’s culture, pedagogy, and curriculum. She is a Local Leader of Education (LLE), an Evidence Lead in Education (ELE), and a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching.

At Rathfern, we are deeply committed to social and environmental justice, which informs our knowledge-rich curriculum and evidence-informed pedagogy. Our curriculum is framed around the Sustainable Development Goals. We strive to equip children with the vocabulary, knowledge, skills, and confidence to actively contribute to a fairer, more sustainable world.
