Nicola Jacobs is Deputy Head at Charles Dickens Primary School and an EEF Evidence Lead in Education. Nicola is co-designer of the Fluency Focus programme: an evidence-informed approach to the explicit teaching of reading fluency in KS2. She also co-designed and delivered the Improving Literacy in Key Stage 2 national training programme on behalf of the EEF. Nicola works with a number of schools, both primary and secondary, on improving their literacy teaching and learning.
